The ESI Company announced that it professional sound card MAYA44 eX can now be used not only with PCs, but also with Mac Pro equipped with PCIe-slots. Compatibility with Mac Pro is provided by a new driver, available for download on the site esi-audio.com.
The ESI MAYA 44 eX card was presented to the public at the end of last year, and sales started in early 2017. The developer positions it as an affordable solution (its cost is only 169 euros), ideal for home sound recording, podcasting and DJing. Like its predecessor MAYA 44e, the new card has four I / O channels and supports audio recording in resolution up to 24 bit / 96 kHz. The switching capabilities of the card include two stereo line inputs (one of which can be used as a monophonic mic input and the other as a guitar input), two outputs, and digital optical S/PDIF inputs and outputs.
The ESI MAYA 44ex sound card is an updated version of the good ESI MAYA 44e. It completely removed the possibility of MIDI connections and expanded the package with modern applications. Programs Deckadance LE and inTone 2 ESI Edition are bundled with the card, as well as the plugins ampLion Free and GK Amplification 2 LE.
Otherwise, the ESI MAYA 44ex card is no different from its predecessor. The exception is the bright color of the textolite and the use of a standard metal plate with connectors.
