Review of a digital piano Alesis Recital Pro

Alesis Recital is a digital piano for beginners and experienced pianists.

Alesis announced the availability of the portable digital piano Recital Pro, which is an improved version of the presented in 2016 model of Recital. From the predecessor, the updated tool is distinguished primarily by a better hammer keyboard and a large number of built-in sounds – there are twelve of them. Among them there are quite realistic timbres of acoustic pianos, electric pianos, church organ, harpsichord and other instruments. Among other differences Recital Pro note the presence of a small built-in display and the “Record” mode, which allows you to record your own performance.

Like Recital, released last year, the new musical instrument Alesis can work not only from the network adapter (included in the package), but also from conventional alkaline batteries. Also these two products combine the presence of a fairly powerful built-in two-way sound reinforcement system and a number of other features listed below:

  • maximum polyphony of 128 voices;
  • simple, intuitive control
  • “Lesson” mode, dividing the keyboard into two zones for playing with a duet
  • Built-in metronome with tempo adjustment
  • Built-in effects of modulation, chorus and reverb.

In conclusion, I will say a few words about the switching capabilities of Alesis Recital Pro. They are also identical to last year’s model and include a USB-MIDI port, a pair of line outputs, a separate headphone output and a sustain pedal jack.
